Description: Kebaya is the dining room of the Seven Terraces and is open to hotel guests and the public. Open daily, 6pm till 10pm. Christopher Ong has worked with the hotel’s chefs to create a menu of a new approach to Classic Straits Chinese Nyonya dishes. They have refined these using French cooking techniques and innovative products to deliver surprising new twists on this already fascinating cuisine. The effect is simple, delicious full of flavor and dazzling. A four-course degustation menu of entrée, mains, vegetables and dessert is served in Chinese 'family-style' to allow guests to share the dishes.

Had a wonderful lunch with parents at the Kebaya Dining Room. For about RM100 per person, each person chooses their starters, mains and dessert and these dishes can be shared. Food was good and tasty. Highly recommended especially for a special occasion. The place is nicely decorated in an old Nyonya style.

It was a late notice and we managed to grab a booking at Kebaya, thank you.
The service (led by Dinesh) was genuine and wonderful. He and his co-workers took the time to explain the food cooking in details, especially with the chicken dish that we ordered.
The setting of the whole dining area gave my wife and I the 'true eating' experience. The utensils, plates, bowls and even the water jar were antiques on its own. They threw us back in 1950's time - High ceiling with the fans running cooled down the whole sitting area. It was a very comfortable environment.
The 3 courses that we had was just right - not under or over fed. The garden area leading to the rest room was a relaxing place to stay for 5 minutes - admiring the tranquility of the hotel itself.
The transportation to the restaurant was so easy. My own personal advice is to gather 8 people and therefore you can order more different dishes to share. It will be a wonderful experience. You just go back in time to experience the colonial time of luxury.
It was a wonderful experience for myself and my wife. Thank you Dinesh and the team.

It was my first time dining in Kebaya Dining Room as an invited guest of a business dinner.

The restaurant is located in an old section of Georgetown inside a conservation hotel : Seven Terrace.

The restaurant has the vibe to teleport to the past and perfectly decorated with traditional Baba/Nyonya History. It has marble tables & wooden chairs & make it as comfort as dining at someone's dining room.

I had the vegetarian set & the dishes were served in an unique round box. I enjoyed the dishes tremendously.

My colleagues & business associates have enjoyed :
- otak otak crispy puff pie
- loh ark (duck confit with spice & orange)
- soft shell crab salad
- hong bak lamb (meat was tender that could be easily off the bones)

The dishes were delicious, well executed with wonderful balance of flavor.
Overall it was an excellent culinary experience + wonderful companions (lot of laughter) in a historical building. My german bosses had enjoyed the night tremendously.
.. but i belueve the price is on the high side too.

The service was prompt & staff are friendly.

The courtyard also present excellent photos opportunity.

It is definately worth checking out at least once.
