Went for this hotel due to its lobby lounge area from its website picture as I need a lobby lounge seats to conduct interview with my candidates.

The hotel service and facilities were good. Location are great and walking distance to Penang eateries, museums and attractions. The parking is quiet a challenge during peak season. Pool was just okay. Hotel interior is nice and luxurious. Overall i can give good rating if not because of bed mites bite on my kids. My 5yo son was infected and been itching all day, while my 18 months baby get it before checking out. It spoiled our holiday since the kids were cranky. Hope they can clean and sanitise the bed thoroughly for others.

We would like to extend our apologies for the inconvenience you had to face during your stay here with us. For your information, the hotel carries out monthly pest control exercise in our endeavour to maintain a pest free environment and our housekeeping team also has a routine daily schedule to clean all rooms and change the bed sheets. Nevertheless, we have informed the Executive Housekeeper to thoroughly check all rooms again to ensure no other guests will face any similar issues.

Love the place. Friendly staff. Breakfast was so good with variaties of food. Walking distance to the famous Padang Kota, Pinang Peranakan Mansion, Penang Street Arts, Little India and more. Will be my first choice of hotel while in Penang.

Have spent 14 nights at hotel checking out this morning.
Hotel location good.
Whole experience spoiled by attitude of reception staff when asked if room could be supplied with an armchair instead of a narrow chaise. Staff treated this request in a very offhand and dismissive manner. We felt that no effort was made to assist us with the issue. The only chair offered was a basic dining chair.
The manner of the staff when dealing with this issue we feel fell short of expectations and perceptions of a hotel of this standard.

The room is very nicely decorated, with highend marble floor and tiles, it really makes it look luxurious. Spotlessly clean, sufficient lighting, comfortable bed, nice bathroom and hot shower, separate toilet for those more than 1 pax staying would be convenient. Only thing that disappointed me was the view, it is virtually none, and I think its about time the management spend some money to clean the outer part of the window although it has no view. Location is so so, right in front of pier, but the nearest eateries are about 1km away, consider short walk for those who are able.
