Mar2023. The layout is not too big so the layout of the dining area with the food area is quite convenient. When I was there for a weekday dinner (during Ramadhan) the restaurant was almost full (with only a few empty tables). Even so, the staff ratio was sufficient and empty plates were cleared sufficiently quickly. There were many foods that you eat with rice. They had murtabak, roti john, curry noodles and local Malay foods and kuihs. There was a meat station that had chicken and beef but not whole-roast-lamb (which I was hoping for). They had a separate grill section with chicken and lamb-chop but both (chicken and lamb chop) were hard and dry. I just took two bites of each and left the rest. They also had satay which was quite edible. The shawarma wrap was quite OK. Ice cream was a tub of melted foam so I couldn’t get any. There was ice-popsicle though. What I liked the most was the Lamb Kurma (eaten with rice) and also the Soup Gearbox (served in a huge bowl with large pieces of bones where I could reach inside to eat the marrow). The soup was delicious when eaten with bread. FrancisTLim.More
