If you come to enjoy the hot spring, please come early, maybe around 07:00. We made the mistake of coming around 11:00, after a visit to Desa Farm. Entrance fee was rm3 for Malaysian adult and rm1 for those under 18 years of age. For foreigners, it was rm18/rm10.
The place was simply teeming with people. All the public hot spring pools under the shade, were booked by families it appeared, because they crossed over to the other pools and mingled easily.
We rushed to book the chalets, but they too, were fully booked. What a disappointment for us, especially the 5 little ones in our group of 12.
As an alternative, the majority of us opted to continue to do the canopy walks. I chose to rest my weak knees; after having stood for an hour or so at the shaded hot spring pools, in the vain hope that some of them would vacate one, but they seemed to plan on staying there the whole day.
The canopy walk proved a success to the young ones. They enjoyed it immensely.
