Poring basically has a lot of activities can be done. U can hike in Poring Hot Spring to reach the 2 waterfalls there. Kipungit waterfall can be reach out around 20 minutes from the entrance of the Poring Hot Spring and Lagganan Waterfall can be reach by 2-3 hours.

The view and the nature absolutely beautiful. The track consider moderate to difficult to some area but it's really worth it.

We can also climbed for a canopy walk in Poring Hot Spring with a very minimal payment and also payment for the camera or gadgets. The canopy walk is a great experience for those who is acrophobic or alto-phobic that want to challenge themselves on the high place. The trail going to the canopy walk quite easy with elevated small steps provided but it's quite challenging for those with knee problems and unfit for it. You need to climb around 500m towards the canopy walk and it took around 20. Consist of 5 canopy walk and each one around 175-200 Meters long and 41-43 Meters in height, which is higher than a 8-floor building.

The entrance to Poring Canopy Walkway is about 835 Meters away from park entrance. It is open from 9am to 4pm daily.

The walkway is an elastic structure, so it will bounce and swing when we walk on it. Some find this thrilling, while some think it’s scary!!!

i went with my baby boy, husband, in laws and my parents. the trail from entrance to the pool location is well kept, magnificient trees lining all way, fresh air, wood smell, a pleasant welcome for us. we chose the private pool there, costing rm15 to rm20 for 2hours (or was it 3hours? i cant remember). the 'pool' is quit small and not up to my expectation, it's made of pvc i think, with rusty water tap. i think the management can upgrade it to a better quality pool and tab.
The surau facility there is not muslimah friendly, as there is no covered ablution area and the surau smells funny.. That is another point they can look into too. Other than that, the strongest point of this place is the nature attractions, love the forest and thumbs up for everyone who kept it so well :))

If you have a lot of free time, you can indulge yourself in the poring hot spring tubs. Else, a nature walk would be good enough in the park. Bring water all the time and light clothing is advisable as the temperature gets really humid inside the park, so prepare yourself to get sweaty *lol*. The downside is no pictures are allow at the canopy walk, so yea..a bit sad on that part. The good thing is the entrance ticket can be used to get into Kinabalu park.

More chance to see wildlive here than the main entrance of Kota Kinabalu reserve. Try to be early if you want to see wild live and do the kanope' quietly without screaming kids and parends. Around 11am the first bus loads arrive, but they don't do the longer hike. Mondays the butherfly garden is closed. Not many people do the hike to the second waterfalls, have to start this one before 12am. There are also places to stay in the park, but really expencive. Oposite the park is a cheap place. Arround the park are also spots to see the Raffisia flower.
The hot springs is nice after the hike but for sure not special when i was there the most pools where closed also the slides, only the badtps where open and the rock pool where you can swim a little, cold water this one. If you want to use a badtup, it takes really long before there is a tittle water in there.
