Our visit was a fantastic experience with lots of information on the tribes of Sabah, samples of the tribes food and drink, cooking demonstrations, dancing and much more. Our guide (his name was Popoi or something similar) was highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic and he really enhanced the experience for us.

We visited in July and it was very humid so dress accordingly and bring lots of bug spray!

The experience cannot be stated in words. You have to be there to experience it.

The culture of 5 main tribes is displayed through real life demonstrations.

The finale show and buffet (vegetarian requests catered to) are cherries on top of already exciting cake.

We had Ben as our tour guide. From start to finish we were glued to what we were being told, very very interesting. Throughout the day we were offered samples of food and drink that the tribes would have traditionally are/drank. The rice cooked in the bamboo tube was delicious!! After the tour we watched a show of traditional dancing followed by lunch. The food was ok, but... the coffee was amazing!! I would recommend this a a must do on your trip to KK to get a full overview of tribal life in Borneo.

We visited here as our planned trip was cancelled due to extreme weather! It was good to hear all about their old way of life and history. Food was included and very poor. I was violently ill the following evening and wonder if it was because of the food here and know of someone else who was poorly and they were there same time as us.

Really informative. It was fascinating to learn about the clan system and how people lived. Very nice to be able to sample some typical delicacies and there were some interactive sessions. Well worth the rather long journey to visit it.
