Borneo Eco Tours was the local tour operator for our vacation on Borneo. They handled everything to perfection. Even when we arrived at a substandard accommodation they arranged new accommodation and transport within a few hours for a very small extra fee.
On every tour in minivans or on boats there were great attention to safety. We were politely asked to wear seat belts or life jackets no matter if it was a short transfer or a long cruise. The guides we met throughout were all pleasant, knowledgeable about nature and society, and did their utmost to fulfill (exceed!) our expectation. They truly helped make our vacation unforgettable.
Summing up our experience with Borneo Eco Tours we can only describe them as a professional and dedicated tour operator. Look them up if you plan to visit Borneo. Highly recommended.

We did the 3D2N tour at Sukau Rainforest Lodge. It is not cheap and knowing that the money is working toward supporting the local economy and protecting wildlife.
We have the same Naturist guide for the entire trip and everything is well organized and on time. The buses are comfortable with great wifi which we were not expected.
Our group have young children and we wouldn't do the trip longer than 3D2N at the Lodge as there is not much the kids can do at the lodge. I wish there are more talks and have some interactive events for them. It is hard for them to sit in the boat looking for wildlife for 2 hours at a time.
Borneo Eco Tours did add the Rainforest discovery and Sandakan Memorial tours on the last day after we left the lodge.

Thanks for suggesting to have more activities for young children. Though the lodge does offer some optional activities such as batik painting, nature walks, orangutan talk as well as free at leisure time that can be spent at the pool, a variety of activities for families with children would definitely be great to have.

I booked the 4 days 3 nights package which includes a stay in the National Geographic-endorsed lodge of Sukau Rainforest Resort. The experiences were amazingly good and very eye-opening. Perfectly done and well organized! Will surely recommend this company!

We travelled as a group of two families (4 adults and 4 children in the age range from 1-11 years old).
Regarding the booking procedure before i can say that it was a very competent e-mail conversation with Borneo Ecotours.
We travelled one day before to Sandakan. The hotel was informed about the pick-up time in the next morning (and informed us directly).
We had with Vincent a very competent and friendly tour guide. Also the drivers and all the other staff members were lovely.
Regarding the lodge and the tour arrangements by boat we can say that it was a great tour, in a beautiful country with lovely, local people. The lodge has a ecological system and was just amazing in the middle of the rainforest and at the river localised. The staff from the lodge was very organised and informed us to the right time regarding the next program points.
We definitively can recommend this tour and Borneo Eco Tours!!!! Thanks for the great experience!

Our group of 8 people did a 3 days 2 nights Kinabatangan Wildlife Safari package on July 14-16, 2019. Right from the beginning of booking, I had a pleasant communication with Ms Farah and with her continued pleasant assistance throughout our stay at Sukau Rainforest Lodge.
All the guides and driver especially Levi and Jassie were very helpful and attentive to our group.
