“Welcome Seafood Restaurant - Bundusan, Penampang”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 October 2012

Their fist outlet opened at Bundusan, Penampang few years back.
Food and prices there are much more cheaper than the Asia City outlet.
Restaurant are full all year round. If you come in group of more than 5, call to book for a table especially during peak hours 7-9 pm. Unless you are willing to wait standing. Opening hours are 3pm to 11 or 12 midnight.
It's located roughly 10km from KK city and is very much reachable by taxi.

It's a must try for seafood lovers or a visit to KK. Tasty food and very reasonably price. yum yum

“Cheap and Fresh!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 October 2012

Perhaps some of the best seafood you can find in Kota Kinabalu. It's catered mostly to the local people so the prices are very cheap compared to the other bigger seafood restaurants that are obviously tourist traps. Would definitely recommend the mantis shrimp cooked in butter sauce. so delicious!

“Really popular with the locals”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 August 2012

This is the best restaurant that we've been to in KK. The price is reasonable and the selection of fishes is decent. Most of their fishes are live ( not frozen and thawed) so its very fresh. The restaurant is huge, it covers at least 5-6 units of shophouses size building. The seating system is kinda complicated, depending on where you seat , you order from different 'aquarium' . I am not too sure if the kitchen is different. We sat the end of the block.

“Cheap and awesome seafood!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 August 2012 via mobile

Where to get cheap seafood in Malaysia ? Average rm30-40 per pax for mind blowing fish, crab, prawns, shells.... This is definitely the place you need to come.

Must try their Chicken cook with Mongolian style, butter prawn, tong Fong lou (shell). All the seafood are fresh and you won't taste this as in peninsula Malaysia.

Atmosphere not high class but who cares? The food matters!

“Fresh seafood, reasonably priced and fast service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 August 2012

A good restaurant to go for seafood. Located within the town vicinity. Ask for their signature dishes if you are not sure what to order. The corner shop which stated "serves no pork" belongs to the same owner too.
Excellent place for fresh seafood. Price is reasonable. Normally very crowded between 7-8.30 pm.
