Large spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Restaurant is on the second floor and has a lot of selections. Close to the Jettison Jetty, so it’s an easy walk to catch the boat the Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park. The counters at the Jesselson Jetty will have packages on how many islands you want to visit.
About 10-15 minute walking to Gaya street.

Clean and comfy room. Great house keeping services and classy customer service. The hotel is strategically linked with Suria Sabah Mall and a stone throw away from Todak Waterfront. Will definitely come back again.

Strategic location. The room is clean and huge. I booked Deluxe Family Room. Attached to Suria Sabah Mall. The nearest mall by walking distance are Jesselton Duty Free and Merdeka Shopping Mall. Easy place for food hunting. The only problem is the parking. There are no dedicated parking for hotel guests.

Overpriced and overrated hotel with parking problem. you have to pay for limited only 15 parking lot with RM 10 PER ENTRANCE!! otherwise you have to park at Suria Sabah Mall with not even an endorsement from hotel. imagine if you have to in and out few times and pay RM 10 per entrance. Not suitable and not recommended to those who planning to bring a car. Better choose Holiday Inn for lot of free parking space and complimentary breakfast included.

I am sorry that you failed to understand we are in the center of the city. Being in the center and business district, land is limited and expensive. We know that every city center in the world has parking issues. For us here. there are plenty of parking spaces in Suria mall and Jesselton mall. However, there are separate entities. The little additional fees for parking makes the difference in staying further away which many people do not realize. Many are distracted in the little and failed to enjoy the convenience and the better things.
FYI, our management is working to acquire more land so that we can increase our parking spaces.

We stayed at Hotel Grandis for 3 nights and I must say it's the perfect location! 15 minutes from airport, 5 minutes walk to the city's jetty where we managed to go to Manukan Island. Hotel next to Suria shopping Mall & 10 minutes walk to Gaya Street since I was there over the weekend. The swimming pool on the roof top & the view was breathtaking . Buffet breakfast at the coffee house has a good selection. Had a comfy stay in the room too. Will definitely consider staying here again on .y next trip!

Stayed in the family room, which was very large and could easily accommodate 5 adults.
Location:-
1. It is connected to the Suria Shopping Mall, which makes it extremely convenient especially for eating, as there are many eateries in the mall.
2. The Jesselton Point where the jetty to the Islands are located, is only 5 minutes walk from the Hotel.
3. The Filipino market is a nice 1km walk along the sea front
The breakfast at Rosea Cafe was great, with a lot of choices.
The swimming pool, though small, was fantastic, with nice views of the sea, and also the cafe at the pool served good food as well.
I was very pleased overall, and will definitely return one day, and also recommend to friends.
However, I didnt give a 5 star rating because of 2 issues:-
1. The toiletries (shampoo, bodywash) were insufficient for the 5 days we stayed, and were not replenished daily. Housekeeping should be more alert on this.
2. The staff manning the egg counter at Rosea Cafe, though efficient in her work, hardly smiled and looked as if the guests were troubling her with the requests for the eggs. She should be more customer-centric and serve with a smile.
Minor comments, but these are worth taking note of.
