A lovely place to stay with well appointed lodges, lovely to able to watch the otters from ones room. They try to put to much into ones stay and everything is very hurried. A lot of muddy walking and not much to see.The guides are lovely but rather young and inexperienced. The food was OK but not very exciting and very little choice. Beware of the floors in the showers as they are like a skating rink when wet.I had a very nasty fall in ours when standing still! The staff are lovely and very helpful and smiley.

Tabin Wildlife Reserve was a pleasant experience except for the leeches. But you cannot avoid them. We had a great guide and he really tried to find orang-utans , but we did not se any. We were a bit disappointed as another group saw some and they did not have walkie-talkies to communicate so that we could have been able to join them. Saw some other animals and birds and enjoyed it. Food is good, the dining are is a bit old and the rooms as well. Especially in the shower I would have appreciated a shower cabinet.
Alla in all a nice experience.

Once you leave the main road and head along the track you really appreciate the beauty of this place.
On arrival at the lodge we were greeted by Alistair our guide who was amazing, such friendly and kind person who was so patient and informative. We stayed in a river lodge which was little very listening to the river at night.
Food was excellent and the whole lodge was clean.
The drives and walls are fabulous, I would recommend taking a water shoe if intending to see the waterfalls and the river bed has some sharp stones, it is also advisable to have leech socks, the lodge supply wellies which were far better than our walking boots, there is certainly a lot of mud of some of the walks. We will return and look forward to having Alistair as our guide again.

When you're visiting anywhere that has nature you're always at risk of limited hot water and animals not always being spotted! The set up is lovely- our cabin was one of the furthest away and certainly could do with a makeover! However, we enjoyed our tours and guide. He was very enthusiastic and accommodating. We were lucky to see elephants on the night ride and birds, lizards and monkeys. The place is relaxing! Lots of giant bugs too (even if you don't get to see anything big). We also got to go to the spa to use the mud and have a foot soak.

Set in the heart of the secondary forest, the resort is built in rustic-style log chalets next to the river bank. A unique experience to live in the jungle with creature comforts! Staff were great and food delicious (catering well for vegetarians). Guides were friendly and experienced, and the various excursions (drives or treks) are not to be missed!!!
