Went home from abroad for booster shot. Stayed here for quarantine from 5th to 11th January 2022. Nice staff very helpful and friendly, good facilities and very good location. Only one negative feedback. The guests ignored the rules that it is not allowed to smoke in the guests room. In my opinion the management could do better or be a bit more firm in to stop guests smoking in the hotel room. I could smell it even in my room. I’m a non smoker hence it is very annoying. Other than that all is good. I would recommend this hotel to everyone coming from abroad. Definitely will stay here again in the future.

Room tip: Very spacious room, location right in the middle of the city, good wifi

The hotel is in the middle of town, within short walking distance from shopping malls and a myriad of local restaurants. The hotel is 3 star but comfortable and next door to an Italian restaurant that does very good business given the crowds that go there. If you have a couple of days to spend in KK town, the Hotel Capital is a good choice to stay in

Room tip: Ask for Seaview if available. Floor 5 upwards are better

The hotel was located in centre of the city with walking distance to Sunday market which was main tourist spot of Kota Kinabalu. The hotel was walking distance to Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal where long distance ferry and snorkeling trip boats could be taken here. The hotel could be noisy at night time as it was located near to street and there were many cars and motors passing by during night time. The next door of the hotel was famous Italian restaurant that serve great pizza and pasta.

Room tip: ask for room with not facing the main road

A hotel with very good and convenient location. My family and I were there for a 5D4N holiday, we can walk to many eateries, shopping malls and tourist spots within a short distance, which we can save some time and money on transportation.
Rooms are newly refurbished except the carpet in the room we have, but it's still ok. Room is clean and tidy. Best to get the room with partial sea view.
The hotel staffs is friendly. The complaints we have is the lifts close it's door a little too fast, and we are expected to pay a 200MYR per room (refundable deposit) which we are not aware of in advance.

Room tip: High floor with partial sea view.

It's a hotel that has been refurbished. It is also near to the city and the Sunday market which makes it convenient. It is not too pricey, and there is three different types of food establishments in the same row.
