The room is very spacious and comfortable. The room is very clean and well maintain as well. Internet speed in the room is fast, easy too connect. Breakfast provides great variety of foods. Staff are friendly.

Always our choice! Perfect location! A walking distance to Kuching Waterfront. You’ll enjoy the view and the eateries along side of the walking alley will never fail you! Has always been our favourite Hotel!

I think this hotel don't have General Manager or manager who in charged, stay on year 2021 when travel started after MCO, carpet on lift lobby is dirty like long time haven't been vacuum, stay Dec this year, carpet still the same, very dirty and seem like not been vacuum for long time.

The receptionist that checked me in, i can tell is the most unpleasant front desk staff i have been dealing with, not even bother to open his mouth and no smile, can tell that he don't like his job, i wondering front desk supervisor or manager didn't see that they have a staff that not enjoying what he is doing?

The front office team are doing a great job as I feel really welcomed, and they take care my needs.

However, the lady ( Chinese) at the Cafe wasn't friendly at all, when I tried to order some food she was focusing on her phone. And feel distributed when I speak to her.

And I didn't get the chance to check the bill before she ask for the payment.

I have mentioned this experience in the survey of hotel but it seems like they don't even bother to respond.

Then why bother to send me survey?

Room tip: Avoid the restaurant, the food and service are horrible as they basically running that place like food court instead of a restaurant of hotel.

Booked a 3 days, 2 nights staycation (so the kids can have some pool time). Unfortunately, weather wasn't kind. So only had pool time on check-out morning. Overall, experience at Pullman Kuching has been very underwhelming and shockingly cold for a "5-star" hotel.

Pros:
1) Accor status recognition (Platinum member) and upgraded to an Executive Suite. This was the only positive experience.

Cons:
1) Receptionist wasn't really knowledgeable on member benefits. No explanation given on lounge access and cocktail hours, breakfast timing etc
2) Room: although spacious, but room lack amenities that is expected of a 5-star Executive Suite (very limited toiletries, utensils). The only "amenities" given abundantly were 6 mineral water bottles.
3) Blackouts: Unexpected for a luxury hotel to have blackout. Imagine experiencing 2 blackouts during stay: 1 after check-in, another 1 on check-out morning. Was told by One-Stop that it's only our floor (16th floor)
4) Executive Lounge: the usual cocktail food and alcohol were there. Lounge was nice, mainly due to excellent view. But service lacked sincerity and professionalism (as compared to, e.g. Pullman Miri, Bangsar or KL). Person in-charge seems more like someone clearing plates.
5) Parking: for guests, RM3 is charge per entry / per day. Again, if free parking cannot be provided (due to whatever reason), at least consider a flat-rate for guests. Imagine staying longer than 2 nights.
6) Swimming Pool: Decent, although no attendant was there. Towels were taken based on self-service (and at guest's own discretion).
7) Breakfast: decent. Was very crowded on Friday morning (unsure if it's really all are guests or mixture of white collars who are having courses at the hotel). Unpleasant experience.

Overall, unless some drastic actions are taken by management who are serious about maintaining the luxury of Pullman/Accor brand, this hotel will sadly go downhill and may be known as an "event hotel" for companies to hold courses/seminars. You can judge how sincere and serious an establishment is, partly by looking at their replies in guests comments in Tripadvisor (so far, looks pretty generic / auto-mode to me). Am quite sad of the hotel's overall state, as I've been a fan of the accor brand for years.

As much as we wish to provide free parking for all of our guests, however the parking facilities belong to The Hills management and not hotel's property. We understand our guest would prefer to have free parking hence we continue to explore every opportunity we have to improve on this.
