Had a great time staying here with my boyfriend in March. It is close to local shops and a good base for walking around the local area. Theres a nice, cheap little eating place just down the street full of locals, which is always a good sign.
Bindi and the staff are super helpful and very welcoming, Bindi has a very well behaved puppy as well, so for me that was a big plus :) From what I can remember, the hostel was the brain child of three friends who started it. Because of that it has a lovely welcoming feel and is definitely unique.
Facilities are great - kitchen, laundry, TV room with comfy sofas and a book swap. Good for solo travellers to meet other people.
We stayed in a private room, the beds were comfortable and we had a very peaceful nights sleep. Its location is great too, right in the heart of Kuching, near the waterfront and to Chinatown.More
