We had lunch here as part of our tour in the dayak room, which we had to ourselves. Unfortunately our agent hadn't notified them prior to our visit that we didn't eat meat. When our first course arrived it had to be sent back but they very quickly provided us with a tasty meal.
The waitress was very friendly and showed us around the art and crafts building after we'd eaten.

Came here for lunch quite some time back. Loved the spicy laksasiam then.

Went with my friends and now there is a beer patio outside. The restaurant looked like it has closed. We had some drinks and ordered food from the menu. Many items stated there were not available. What is the point???

The place seems to be run by very loud Filipinos. They seem more interested in talking and laughing among themselves than serving.

Not lighted well and feels like being in a sleazy outdoor bar.

Yucks!!

We had one of the best lime soda here and that's the good I remember of this place. Every dish we ordered though were not how as we know them & they tasted quite different too! We can't forget this place for the fact that we were charged overly for a relatively common fish which we eat quite often. In most of the restaurants we go to, the cost of this fish is only a third of what Absolute Tribal charged us.

A walk into the bungalow would lead you to different ambience and settings - the Chinese style and the Dayak style.

We sat at the Dayak style room. We were the only ones there at that time so we kind of had our own private little space. There were some kind of aroma going around, with beautiful paintings on the wall.

As for the food, it was pretty okay. Not many choices of food, nevertheless. I enjoyed the curry though. It wasn't spicy, yet it was a little sweet, a very unique taste altogether. Kudos on the creativity with the names of beverages!

P:s doesn't the name reminds you of Absolute Thai? But anyway... it doesn't have any relation to that except it being Thai(mixed Chinese) food
