We ate here on our first evening having arrived late afternoon and wondered why there was no one else eating here. When we got our meals we wondered no longer.
Worse was to come as the complementary hotel breakfast (this cafe is actually part of the Ranee Suites hotel) is truly dreadful. We stayed for five nights and got a reasonable breakfast on only one occasion.
The service was slow and lacklustre, the wait for the meal was in every case over half an hour. Water for tea on the only occasion they were at all busy was luke warm and the coffee more like dish water.
On our last day we were not committed to an early sightseeing departure and we walked out on the French Raisin Toast it was so bad. This dish should involve egg and not packet white bread so I photographed it.
This review is only of the cafe, not the hotel which was fine.
