I booked this hotel through booking .com..my reservation date is 14 july until 16 july and I asked for early check in at 5am..there is some problem I had during my stay..

1) they promise they confirmed can arrange my request for early check in at 5am on 14 july, but when I arrived at hotel de art seksyen 19 the receptionist said their roims fully boooked and no room for me.. He also said I need to wait until 3pm to check in.. I showed the email on what they promised me then receptionist did arranged me to stayed at hotel de art seksyen 7 which is one of their properties (as picture attached).Short story I went to seksyen 7 and I managed to get my room without any explaination or information from them about my check out time.

2) Today 15 of July they told me I need to check out instead of 16 July because I check in early and it count as one day or else I need to pay for extension stay. The boy at reception think im stupid maybe, he said all of hotel procuder like this, he think this is my first time I stay in hotel? I worked for 6 years in hotel line and this is first time I heard such a procuder. What I ever know is some of hotel will charge for early check in only and they will inform guest for sure.

3) I will never suggest this hotel, they are not willing to take responsibility and dont care about the problem they "created" for you.

The check-in was very smooth and friendly. Easy to find hotel. Artistically decorated. Near to restaurant and self service laundry. Just standby for a MYR 50.00 deposit during check-in, which is refundable. The setback, there was ongoing repair works when I was going to enter the room. The bathroom was clogged and the room is located at the non-attached building to the reception. Overall, it is good and pleasant stay.

First room given was small and did not prep our additional mattress as per we requested.. good service they help to change to a bigger room that is able to fit. Bathroom was small though. TV reception not too clear but reasonable movie to see. Air-conditioning ok. Overall ok experience

Stayed in May 2017.
Art Queen Room (No Window) RM158

The Bad:
Dirty bathroom floor and ceiling. Moldy, peeling paint and dirty room wallpaper. There was water coming out through the room wall and therefore I had to place a towel on the floor, next to the bed. Broken side table. Dust under the console table. Rustic electric kettle. Stain inside the mug. The breakfast, fried noodles (mee goreng), had an unpleasant bitter "kapur" taste. The bitter "kapur" taste is commonly the result of not rinsing the noodles properly and thoroughly before cooking. I decided to stay at the hotel after browsing through amazing room photos, specifically photos of Art Queen Room (No Window), at Hotel De Art Section 7 website and official Facebook. Misleading photos indeed. It was my first time staying there and definitely my last. Disappointed.

The Good:
Well-decorated lobby. A polite Malay male receptionist during check-in.
