This hotel advertises itself as a five star hotel. My company booked a conference there and we housed our staff as well as conference attendees. I travel for business regularly and typically stay in five star chain hotels. My experience with the conference side of this hotel was superb. The manager was very helpful and the staff was attentive.

My experience with the room and hotel services was less than pleasant. Conversations with my colleagues came up with the same problems. These are the problems:
1. I booked an airport transfer by the hotel from KLIA airport. The hotel demanded advance payment. This is despite the fact that we were booking and paying for a conference and multiple rooms.
2. My room had mould - this was visible on the shower curtain and shower area. I could not breathe in the room and contacted house keeping. They came and cleaned the bathroom but not the shower curtain.
3. Room fixtures were broken. The power point was broken and I could not insert my overseas power plug. I asked concierge for a power socket adapter and was told that they did not supply this item; this is despite the hotel services listing this as an item which could be had for a $30 Malaysia Ringgit deposit. I was told that I could go to nearby shopping centre to purchase one. So, I called for maintenance and their solution was to bodge (break) the safety cap on the socket so that I could insert my plug into the socket; isn't this dangerous?
3. A room reading lights were broken and hanging by the wire. This was above the bedhead. I wonder if there was still current running through the wires. Maintenance said that they would fix it tomorrow. I stayed for two days but the light was not fixed.
4. The mattress on the bed had sunk in the middle and the cover smelt. I believe that it was not changed since the previous guest. The pillows did not smell fresh.

The breakfast was passable for the type of hotel but nothing special. They gym was poorly maintained. Overall the hotel was run down and poorly maintained. Definitely not worth the price I paid and I could not wait to get out of there.

1. Most of the staff are not friendly nor helpful! With no smile on their face, and won't utter more words than just yes or no. Not even bother to look up at the guests!
2. NO shuttle service although website stated otherwise!
Booked this hotel as the website stated shuttle bus service was provided to nearby malls as we do not have our own transportation there, and not familiar with the place. However, when asked for shuttle bus service, the staff at reception (a man with a face like I owed him billions dollar) just said "Don't have". When I continue to ask that the website stated differently, he just said "no more, you call grab la!" Ok, fine. So I was with my mum and 2 young kids, started calling grab/taxi but for more than 40mins, no taxi/grab is willing to pick up from this location! Luckily the staff (the only friendly staff during my stay) saw us wandering helplessly at the lobby area, offered to help us book a grab after knowing our situation. We finally manage to get a cab about 1 hour later (the ride to the location was only 10 or 15 mins).
3. The pool, a very small one, with no shade, is at a weird location, whereby guests have to walk pass the check in lobby, lounge and restaurants, and even go down a level to reach. There was no lifeguard, and actually nobody (not even 1 guest) around when we check out the pool too.
4. The room was supposed to be 26hours stay with early check in option (need to flll in a form at least 3 days prior to arrival), I followed the instructions and request at least 10 days before, and supposed to get a reply in 3 days time, but there was no reply at all, and I have to make a call to check. Even so, they cannot answer whether I can get to check in earlier.
5. We found out that the parking is limited, at outdoor location (with no shelter to the hotel), and is to pay per entry from other guest too!
Conclusion: a big NO to this hotel!

Check in smooth, room was nice/clean/comfortable and room service was excellent.
Only negative was parking rate is unacceptable. Having guest to pay just beyond me. Going cashless is good initiative though.

Am here on a business trip and i have to say i am utterly pleased with this establishment. The room is as comfortable as it gets.Extra credits to the F&B team. Their food is just the bomb. Pick any dish on the menu and you’d be amazed. Kinda regret i Missed a few lunches before. This is My first time and i definitely look forward for the next trip
