We enjoyed our stay at the Maritim. Rooms are spacious. Hotel general upkeep and feel was clean and new. Staff friendly and willing to help. New sun beds , new furniture throughout really adds to the experience. So we did have a great time at the Resort and rating it below 4 would not be justified
There were a few areas where experiences were not good. Read various comments regarding cleaniness of bathrooms and rooms on forums and promises from hotel to apologise and to improve. Our experience was the same unfortunately . On arival had to request a deep clean as the floors were dirty. In general the towels and hand towels was sub standard as they were no longer white, some already in tatters and old. I am of the opinion there is not enough people cleaning rooms in the resort. Daily room service only cleaned our room around 16h00. Definately a time and motion study to be done with right equipment for staff and determine number of rooms per staff member per day.
Last comment buffet food quality and variety across days can really improve a lot . Every day was same food, except for one or two dishes which made it a difference experience Suggest really make an effort to make the themes pop. And wine on All Inclusive package is absolutely not drinkable. Really low quality wine.More
