Great coffee and pastries.
I love the chocolate as well as the almond croissants. Their latte is a perfect blend of buzzy and creamy.

Ordered the avocado toast - and had a poached egg with it too. Such a good choice. Really delicious, and I felt good eating it too.

Yummy specials - some fabulous prepared foods too. I've also had the soup of the day, and it was great choice. Totally not pedestrian flavors - complete with a lovely herb profile.

Bread menu, baked daily, and will sell out. They even make specialty pizza, and some sandwiches. Not cheap eats - but it's worth it.

Closed Wednesday and Thursday.
Across from Crossroads.
Enjoy!

The bread is peasant-hearty and a dream, but the selection is limited and that extends to their pastry offerings. Alas, you want to take them to the Bartlett House to show them what a bakery selection could look like...and then there's the stock issue - they are prone to running out early and closing early, as well. We had three instances of showing up during working hours only to find the store closed or only having loaves of bread available. Go early! Call first!

Once you get beyond the bakery issue, there is inventive fare for lunch - which leads you to believe they might host a nice restaurant one day. I hope they do -- but I hope their improve on this business first.

Bonfiglio is still great. It took awhile to get to Athens, but it was worth the wait. Great breads, sticky buns and the food is terrific. They are open for breakfast and lunch, but close at 4. Don’t get shutout. You have to try this place!

First, as mentioned, this is now in Athens and not Hudson but it's just across the river. So, we went for the first time and had a sandwich and a pizza. Just great. The sandwich was on what may have been a salty focaccia (or ciabatta). Just terrific with great texture. And the porchetta with accompanying pickled veggies was pretty mean too. Mi esposa's pizza, basically simple red sauce and cheese was near perfect - light, fresh sauce, easy cheese, and great crust. Really can do this one any better. Back tomorrow for breakfast and road snacks.

My wife and I stopped in on sunday, very busy and so we decided to return on Monday. Much better as much less hectic.

We shared a 14" pizza which was very good! Thin crust and fresh ingredients. Bread and pastries looked and smelled delicious.

Seating was fine for weekdays, but weekends, very busy and seating is tight.
