It's all about the floating islands in Puno, but this casa although a little on the expensive side is beautiful.

The rooms are lovely with Hugh ceilings, and good beds.

The bathrooms are a great size with a lovely shower (rarity in SA)!

Breakfast is good with cereal, yoghurt, juice, bread and eggs.

Edgar the owner is lovely, he helped us to park our car in a friends garage. He wanted to make sure his guests had a great time.

You will enjoy your stay here, it's beautiful.

Edgar and Ursula are excellent hosts and really treat their guests like family. In addition, Edgar helped us with booking tours and our onward travel to Chivay. The rooms were very clean, plenty of hot water, delicious breakfasts in a warm and cozy BnB. The location was excellent and within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants.

We had a very early start when we were leaving and Edgar and Ursula were up before us and had breakfast ready.

Thanks for the great hospitality! We would have loved to stay longer.

Did I forget to mention the wifi was "Excellent" :)

Room Tip: I believe all rooms will be just fine!

The hosts, Edgar and Consuela, were extremely welcoming, lovely and helpful. We arrived in Puno planning to do a homestay on one of the islands in Lake Titicaca and within minutes Edgar had helped us to sort it all out. The place is lovely and the decoration gives it a tranquil feel. Rooms are spacious and clean with hot water. Breakfast was good and Consuela's cooking is extraordinarily yummy. A short walking distance from the main plaza and a short taxi drive from the Lake Titicaca shore. A really enjoyable stay at Casa Panqarani :-)

After reading the great reviews in Trip Advisor, we were looking forward to a wonderful stay. However, we were disappointed. The rooms had a very strong sewer/sulfur odor, coming from the bathroom. The showers would go from hot to icy cold in a matter of seconds, and the rooms themselves were very cold, with no heating source. The hotel is also in a noisy part of town with a lot of street noise and cats fighting and birds clicking on the metal roof, very early before 6 AM. After spending the night in a cold room, a warm breakfast would have been nice, but the only thing warm was a thermos of hot water. The best thing about this place was the beds were fairly comfortable, and there were enough blankets on the bed to keep you warm as long as you stay under the covers.
