It's such a great place. I went with a terrific company. They were really informative and helpful. The people from Uros and Taquile island were really polite and received us with so much gratitude.
The climate was windy and cold in my opinion, but the view was incomparable. What I had to suggest is if you're going to visit this great island, hire the bote company directly in the shore, don't do it through a hostel nor hotel, they'll over charge almost the triple.
And don't worry about getting with no tickets, they're plenty of botes there.

Thank Jonathan Harcel... D

The lake is so spectacular and a must see. We stayed on one of the small islands - we can really recommend that.

The world's highest sizeable body of water begs for exploration, beyond the regular tourist locations. Its coast, islands, exotic communities, natural and human history have so much to offer foe anyone NOT addicted to 4-star luxuries.

Thank twisted?

It probably helped that the sky was blue for most of our day's excursion on the Lake. We visited the floating islands and met some locals. We then went to Amantani island where we had lunch in one of the houses there.
Overall a day that was just superb.

Viewing Lake Titicaca with a visit to the islands of Uros is definitely worth it if you've made your way to Peru. The Lake is massive, beautiful and the Uros way of life that has been kept alive since before the Incas is amazing as well.
