JS is in a good location if you don't want to be too far from transportation (airport, busses). It's basically downtown Makati so you'll get to see the real Metro Manila; lots of professionals in the day and... something else at night.

The room was big and clean. The building itself is a bit older but that's no problem at all.

The staff was helpful and got me a cab in the morning.

The area, while looking a bit grimy, has many restaurants and shops. There are also some high-end shopping centres close by.

One thing to note is that there seems to be a red light district somewhere close by. It's not a problem but be aware that at night that sort of thing will be in effect.

JS is a good place to stay in Makati.

Room Tip: No elevator to 4h floor.

Jupiter Suites is a decent place to stay for a short while. We stayed for two nights, and in that time it had its pros and cons. The location is decent - being right next door to a Mercury drugstore and an array of fast food options. Greenbelt, Glorietta and MRT stations are not too far away.

The WiFi was a bit slow and connection wasn't always consistent. The interiors were a bit dated and need some refurbishment. The biggest letdown was the external noise - we could hear everything from the road next door and make sleep fairly difficult.

Overall, Jupiter Suites is ok if it's a short stay. It's inexpensive for Makati so it's worth considering.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that isn't next to the road.

This is my 2nd visit here and now i stayed for only 2 days, but highly recommended because of their friendly staff & value for money, only downside is their t.v, always no signal and no cable, only local channels. But i dont mind staying here again. i feel comfortable, ohh and location is good too. walking distant for almost anything you need, ie. entertainment, f&b , most of ph banks & malls. overall i had great stay here

Stayed for one night, January 11.

Room 304 only had local channels on TV and there's no WiFi connection. Included breakfast was a Jollibee meal.

Spacious room for standard queen type. Hot shower, small fridge and A/C were working. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

Place is located next to Mercury Drug were you can get basic necessities. Also, close to restaurants and fast food.

Jupiter Suites - badly needs a refresh

Having saved 30%-off the walk-in rate by using Booking.com, it was a safe place to sleep, but quality was sadly below expectations. My booking was correct, reception pleasant and check-in trouble-free. Remember to add 12% Vat and 10% Service Charge to Booking.com rates.

Jupiter Suites is very conveniently located just steps from the Padre Burgos nightlife of Makati, with maybe 25 large rooms over 4 floors, served by a ramshackle lift proudly displaying a recent inspection certificate.

Rooms are large and include a bathtub, wardrobe, Queen-sized or twin beds, dresser with mirror and table & 2 chairs. Lighting was excellent. Flat screen TV was a good size and the cable channels plentiful. There was a small refrigerator, effective aircon and two real glass drinking glasses. Toiletries consisted of two tiny soap bars and shampoo/conditioner sachets.

It was annoying that, despite every effort, volumes of shower spray found ways to reach and partially flood the bathroom floor. But the big problem is that the entire hotel and rooms suffer badly from the often seen Filipino owner's lethargy with respect to maintenance. Everything about the place is in need of refresh (see photos), probably mostly just painting.

But as it is today, it falls into the category of being described as a "dump".

-- end --

Room Tip: Rear has no outlook, but no traffic noise either.
