Very great service, excellent staff, and beautiful views! The breakfast service was exceptional! Very attentive and kind staff!! Perfect location and the store is nearby…casino is also enjoyable! We always enjoy staying here when in cebu!!

Were very happy for the experience. Also were very thankful for the FOA miss Breannah for helping us and also she's taking good care in handling our check-in. Thank you crown regency for the wonderful experience.

Room tip: Very convenient and a lot of malls nearby at the hotel.

THIS HOTEL IS HORRIBLE - AVOID!!!!!

- [ ] We had no idea if this was even a hotel when the taxi pulled up - there was no sign saying crown regency hotel or anything similar …. The hotel building and the road near it are very dirty and covered in rubble and there is scaffolding outside the front entrance. The many guys standing around could keep this all clean - and they could at least have a sign outside to say this was the hotel!
- We arrived at 12:30 and we were told to come back after 2 pm as there were no rooms ready. It didn’t look at all busy - I suspect most likely they never let guests check in early because management don’t care.

- When we did return about 4:30 pm we were given a room and when we got there we could see two single beds and not a king bed as clearly requested and indicated in the booking - and the lady at reception did not think to tell us about this awful change ….
- The main blockout Curtain across the main window did not fully close across and could not be pulled over to close out the light. How could any caring staff know this and leave things so bad!?!
- The Bidet was not working properly and lost pressure after only a few seconds.

- The toilet Flush was not always working - with water running down back of bowl for hours … and us not knowing if it ever would work properly.

- We were forced to endure cold showers at 8pm (we had been assured at reception the hot water would work only from 6pm until 10pm). This is an expensive hotel this is just ridiculous in the first place - but no hot water 8pm is just cruel!!!

- The Air conditioning - when it initially worked in the evening - seemed very cold even with the setting at 25 degrees - and even with the fan on low it was blasting high pressure freezing air directly at the beds.

- Much more distressing - and unknown to us - The AC had been pre- set to turn itself off on a 4 HR timer and so it switched itself off at 1:30 am - we woke up hot in a pool of sweat wondering what was going on. I figured out the AC was on a timer and had switched itself off. This is not money saving economy - it is cruel and outrageous management!

- I tried to ring reception - but almost all the many direct connection buttons on the phone did not work.

- Finally at about 2am a technician came and said he knew nothing about how to fix the controller - it was a newer type - shrugged his shoulders and laughed a bit and offered no reasonable solution except that we should wake up at 6 am and restart again in 4 hours…

- We could hardly get back to sleep it all seemed so awful!!!
- I tried to explain at this at reception in the morning - the receptionist wouldn’t have notified anyone else about how horrible things were until I insisted. I still don’t believe they actually will listed or care about it!!!

- This hotel is run by penny pinching managers who don’t care what the experience is like once they have your money. The worst is the AC - having to restart in the middle of the night is cruel - the second worst the ridiculous economy measure (in an expensive hotel!!) of forcing guests to have cold showers and expect them to just put up with it. But the whole experience is rotten clearly coming from dreadful lazy and probably corrupt management!

Me and my friends stayed in Crowne Regency Cebu, the old fashioned hotel amazed me with the room and amenities, the location is very strategic, they have a parking space but the building and parking looks very old, they have a casino on the top, they have an elevator and the establishment is near to a Robinsons mall and fast food chains, the pool is amazing, but because of our busy schedule we were not able to make use of their pool, staff is very helpful too. i think the rate of the hotel is just fair in the market. In my humble opinion a Casino is a bad entertainment.

Room tip: taxi and grab is very useful in Cebu

Congratulations on the worst customer service and special mention for the worst breakfasts ever . Stayed for 3 nights, had it been a fourth I would have moved. 2/3 morning’s a smiling filipino asked me at 8am if he could make up my room !!!!!! Breakfast 3 days running individuals were complaining. I guess the ‘chefs’ are from Jolibee. Trained and skilled? Definitely not - why? Im an Executive chef here on business from overseas. I would sa k my staff! 3 mornings running - no eggs. Same excuse - no delivery? Salad bar was a delight - 1 bowl of lettuce - slithers of old tomato (old, dry) and i saw the same ‘julienne’ carrots who one day 3 gave up the will to live so the jolibee cooks put them into a bowl of water! Shocking food

Agoda has falsely advertised this property. I have been searching for almost an hour to try and speak to someone on your so called 24/7 customer service with no luck!

I have been very dissatisfied with our stay at Crown Regency. This hotel is dead!! None of the amenities mentioned on your site are operational, it’s old and lifeless and seems like has been abandoned for years. Breakfast was horrible! And all good were gone by the time we went. It was 9:20 am the first morning then at 9:00am the second morning. The service is till 10am but when we went there was no food left! No bread, fruits, nothing! The staff gave us some scraps from their kitchen. Second morning, staff saved us some poor looking bread but we couldn’t finish our breakfast as there was a huge rat!! It ran across the floor right in front of me. I am appalled at the horrible state of this property and more so disappointed at Agoda for falsely advertising the property. It’s been very stressful for us all. The towels in the room are grey from being old and worn out, they look filthy!! No toiletries provided just some harsh soap. I want Agoda to compensate us for this horrible experience. I will be writing a public review. I am now concerned what the next two hotels will be like given that we booked them all through Agoda.

It has been a nightmare trying to contact someone at Agoda!! Trip.com is much better. I won’t be coming back to Agoda any time soon and will spread the word too.

Room tip: False advertising watch YouTube videos of actual travellers before booking. Poor facilities.
