I stayed here recently for 5 nights and was very satisfied. Hotels in central Moscow can be very expensive, and many of cheaper ones are a long way outside the centre - the Ibis seems to get the balance around about right.
Hotel is located around a 10 minute walk from both Paveletskaya station (where the Aeroexpress airport train arrives) and Serpukhovskaya metro (two stops into central Moscow). I didn't have any trouble finding it with a map. Basically as long as you walk along ulitsa Shchipok, you can't miss it.
It's a fairly typical Ibis hotel really. I was offered the choice of a smoking room, which I accepted, on the 3rd floor. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, the TV, shower, hairdryer and air-con all worked perfectly. The room and bathroom were cleaned every day.
Reception, bar and restaurant staff were all very helpful, courteous and friendly. I ate in the restaurant only once, and was very satisfied. I thought breakfast was too expensive, so gave it a miss. Besides, there are plenty of cafés and restaurants if you walk towards the stations. The bar itself is a little on the expensive side (yes, even for Moscow) but open 24 hours a day.
Nearby are the ubiquitous kiosks, a mini-supermarket on ulitsa Dubininskaya (round the corner) and various shops by Serpukhovskaya.More
