Beautiful, clean, spacious, apartment, very close to the Hermitqge and Nevsky Prospekt and several other main sites. Very friendly welcome from our hosts and we very much appreciated the quick and helpful responses from Peter. I can't imagine there is a better place to stay.
The apartment itself is beyond description, pictures hardly do it justice. Very spacious, airy, and bright. 5 Minutes walk to Hermitage, Nevsky, and Metro. Peter was excellent at handling any and all of our questions, and was even so thoughtful as to provide local cell phones (which we did not need).
Be aware that the windows overlook a somewhat busy street, so if you are alight sleeper, you might want to consider bringing some earplugs to avoid being woken up.
Five mins from the Hermitage, two mins from Nevsky Prospect, beautiful sun filled apartment, with original artwork by Prokorov and Rubanova. Our hosts went out of their way to make our stay in St Petersburg a truly wonderful experience. Very highly recommended.
A spacious, clean and well equipped apartment in a very convenient location. We enjoyed 3 nights here and it would be hard to find better accommodation.
Communication with Peter was prompt and friendly and he was there to meet us. He booked a taxi for us upon leaving which was punctual.
The only downside is that the air conditioning and tv were not working and Peter didn't offer to fix them.
Our stay at Peter and Yana’s apartment was wonderful and luxurious. Apartment manager Tatiana met us in the apartment upon our arrival. She was very responsive and accommodating. The apartment is updated with high end modern finishes.
Architecturally, the apartment screams of rich history with high ceilings, pocket doors, bay windows and moldings. We enjoyed people watching out of huge windows. There was a Chrome notebook to use during our stay. There’s also a pre-paid phone, adding to the convenience.
The location of the apartment was unreal!! The apartment is in walking distance to most major museums, churches, parks, shopping. It is near the subway (a pleasure to ride) and buses. Uber is very convenient and cheap. We used it when we could. I would definitely use Uber over Taxi. Taxi is slow to arrive and twice as expensive.
I recommend shopping in Gostinny Dvor. Dine at Yat’, Teplo, and Gosti restaurants, all within 5-10 walking distance. For a quick (but amazingly good and inexpensive) meal go to Teremok, just two doors down from the apartment. McDonald’s fries and coffee downstairs never disappointed. There are many cafeteria locations (“Stolovaya”), the ones we visited were all delicious, quick and inexpensive.
The two umbrellas in the apartment came in handy many times!
Thank you, Peter and Yana, for the most relaxing stay in your apartment in the most beautiful city in the world!!
