A friend and I completed the amazing Trans-Mongolian route in September 2017. Trying to find international tickets ahead of time to travel from Moscow to Beijing had proven to be quite difficult to do online, until I found Rusrailtravel.

Our agent at Rusrailtravel, Andrei, was extremely patient and helpful in all aspects of booking the tickets and providing paperwork necessary for visas. I also had to have my visa paperwork and tickets re-issued as my passport needed replacing shortly before the trip. Andrei quickly changed everything and re-issued without charging anything extra for the trouble.

He also hand-delivered the tickets to our hostel in Moscow and helped explain when and where we needed to go. Thanks again Andrei!

We booked our month long trip to Russia staring in Moscow , then via Transsiberian railroad to Vladivostok, then to Petropavlovsk Kamchatsky. Everything went very smooth , thanks to Rusrailtravel and Andrey Bezsudov. Andrey helped us to create itinerary, with all details, he was in touch with us during the whole trip to ensure that we are provided with the best service as requested. We had a very memorable trip and will definitely come back to Rusrailtravel again. We recommend Andrey Beszudov to all our friends who are interested to visit Russia. Rusrailravel is the best ! Thank you Andrey !

The trip of a lifetime! This was truly amazing, we started in Beijing (after spending one month in China) and went to Ulanbaatar for a 6 day stop, then caught the train directly to Moscow (another week here) The views are amazing, make sure to clean your window and be awake most of the time for some once in a lifetime views!
We bought the tickets via CITS, the Chinese Government Agency and while it worked really well picking up the first leg of our journey tickets (Beijing to Ulanbaatar), as they cannot buy Mongolia tickets directly it can be messy! We had lots of problems as the Chinese and the Mongolian don’t really get along and ultimately we had to go across Ulanbaatar in the last day of our trip on a wild goose chase to get the tickets! So, book Ulanbaatar trains from Mongolia not through China!!

Paid 9000cad for a trip that at best cost 4000cad to put together. Their idea of a "private" trip is to simply abandon you somewhere and call it an experience. Accommodation and food were terrible.
Basically they try to market cheap as exotic.
Got sick(probably from being thrown in a compartment with 3 wheezing Mongolians) and had to abandon the last leg of the trip. Trans Siberian was of no help

We spent a long time researching, planning and booking this trip of a lifetime. We were not disappointed. The decision to book directly with the Russian Railways tour operator (RZD) was clearly a great approach. We were working with the actual Tour Director, Elvira, who was so helpful in answer about 50 questions in very prompt email replies. A jewel of a person and a great staff to care for everyone one the trip.
A most spectacular experience from start to finish. First Class hotels, excellent bus transportation and wonderful, interesting, educational, informative excursions in every city. The fascinating overnight stay in the Gir ( yurt) camp in Mongolia and the family visit there. We had Excellent, spacious train accommodations, excellent and ample meals on board and off the train during excursions. This trip and the marvelous and beautiful dining car, bar car and compartments offer a feeling of classic luxury and comfort from a bygone era.
With over 100 folks on board Elvira and her staff made each of us feel like we were special participants in a "small group tour". The fact that there were separate guides for each language group made this a very smooth and well organized experience for all of us. The attention from the staff including an attending physician was superb. The violin concert on board and the staff lectures were excellent. It was elegant from start to finish. We feel so lucky to have had this wonderful experience.
