We had a surprise there as we were intending to go for the playground that is indoor but they had a sooner game and the only way to get in was with a ticket.

So we bought the ticket and the atmosphere was awesome with food, beer and well organised crowd control. My kids enjoyed the playground and my elder son enjoyed his first soccer match and there were 3 goals!

Great place for matches and spending time indoor during winter or rainy days.

Sapporo Dome is a great indoor baseball venue, with a nice (and free) play area for children. During games, they control the number of children who can play at one time to keep it safe, although when they were hovering around that top limit, my five year-old said it was too crowded and hard to get turns to do things. The stadium has the food stands and other amenities typical of Japanese baseball, with the added bonus of the observatory deck to look out over Sapporo on one side and the playing field on the other. An enjoyable afternoon for the family!

watched an Arashi concert in Sapporo Dome and it was a great experience! the design from the outside is so simple yet elegant. the interior is great as well. i thought it was way smaller than Tokyo Dome but judging from the inside, its almost as comparable.

I traveled to the city of Sapporo in the Hokkaido area in Japan back in September and had the opportunity to attend to a game of the local baseball team "Sapporo Fighters" , not only was the game to the level of Major Leagues but what impressed me even more was how organized and clean the place was from the lobby, to the seats and even the bathrooms.

The stadium has a closed roof and has A/C which makes it nice to attend any time of the year. The place has an indoor food court with many options available for any cravings you might have (It is not the less expensive meals but it is at a reasonable price for a Stadium) . The place also sells articles from the local team so you can buy souvenirs without even going to a different place and there are different stands in different areas of the stadium so you will never find a place to crowded or out of stock.

When you are in your seats you will see girls going around with that appears to be a back pack, which turns out to be a beer pack with a hose used to serve been but the glass to anyone who requests it, but do not worry if you don´t drink alcohol, there is also a soft drink menu and all at an affordable price and without getting out of your seat.

Do not miss the chance to catch a game on your next travel to Sapporo!
