Located a few mins outside the main area this really does feel like a very exclusive place indeed. 3 michelin stars I believe. The staff are very attentive and the owner/chef's wife spends time chatting about the place, the menu and making sure everything is ok. Service is excellent and the standard of food very high but I think this is probably for the very discerning diners which is not really what we are. If 3 star is your thing then you will really like this place. We really enjoyed the evening but probably as much for the occasion and experience than the food. There was some geiko entertaining going on in some of the other rooms and the fleet of taxis ferrying everyone out of the back door and past our window was fascinating! All rooms are private dining and done very well

One of the best Kaiseki restaurant I have tried.

Love their innovation and changes of ingredients according to Seasons.

A must try place.

Really interesting to enjoy an authentic Kaiseki meal. Gracious and every so polite service in quiet private dining room.

As a westerner some of the food was a little on the challenging side, but as a taste adventure it was fantastic, and we ate everything.

A beautiful setting fitting for an exceptional kitchen team - definitely a special experience for fans of high-end Japanese food and foodies looking for a new experience.

Out thanks to the staff and chefs!

In our 2 week visit to Japan we are at 7 Michelin starred restaurants. This was the most expensive and disappointing. Some dishes were very good. Some were barely edible and we enjoy varied food. We are at a Michelin one star the night before, Jiki Miyazawa, which was much better for half the price (not that price is an issue). When you go to a Michelin 3 star you would hope that you're getting the best in this case you're not. The setting was beautiful and the service attentive.

The food here is exquisite. The location is intimate. BYOM- bring your own music as this is a quiet kaiseki experience. The food is fantastic. The service is great.
