Been to this place twice during our stay in kyoto. The food was yumm and had good vegetatian options. Their kulfi dessert is a must try. Very good service.

We ate at the place multiple times, many vegetarian choices, food was excellent (I am North Indian so I know the cuisine :)), service was good, prompt and accommodating with kids and families. Great find!!

Being vegetarians tourists in Japan is a challenge, so we were delighted to find an Indian restaurant close to where we stayed. It was a pleasant surprise to find authentic Indian food at a simple restaurant in Kyoto. The staff and the owner are extremely friendly.

We ended up there for dinner, looking to eat different then japanese. It was good indian food (not the touristy one you have sometime) and well seasoned (not too spicy at all like others said, maybe they are used to touristy places finally ;-) ).

We took chicken tika massala and paneer in curry sauce with one pulao rice (all to share) and 2 naan bread. Each plate has different flavour and the rice was excellent.

The negative point : quantity of chicken/paneer was ridiculously small. Like 5 little cubes of paneer (1cm) and 4 veeery small pieces of chicken. The only reasons we were fine at the end are the naan bread is big and we don't eat much. You normaly have more meat in these "metal indian plates" at other indian restaurants all over the world.

Our meal was excellent--rice with vegetable korma and saag paneer (superior), raita, with an Indian salad to start. The naan was exquisite, very light, thin and slightly crisp. It's probably the best Indian meal I've had to date.
