I stayed here for 4 nights. Check in was fast and courteous – very impressive. There are several lifts, so getting to and from your room is fast too.
All hotel rooms in Japan are very compact, but this one was probably the tightest! There was also no view from the window, as the glass had been covered with some kind of opaque frosting, so it must have looked out onto another wall.
The single bed was wider and longer than western ones. There is a fridge and water heater (not a kettle – I couldn’t work it out), as well as a large television and desk/chair. Wifi in the room is very good. The bed was comfortable as was the duvet, and the air conditioning is good. There was no wardrobe – just some coat hangers on the wall.
Breakfast wasn’t included in my tariff, but there are so many places where you can eat, and plenty of convenience stores nearby to buy fruit, yogurts, etc to stock the fridge with breakfast items. The bathroom is very small. The bath is small but deep, and there is every toiletry you could possibly need in there.
The location is brilliant – it is literally about 10 metres from the nearest exit of the Tanimachiyonchome subway station, and an ideal base from which to explore Osaka!More
