If you ever need to try halal Chinese food without hurting your pocket, this is the place.

Dim sum and typical Chinese food. Reasonably Price and decent food.

Take note that this place is also cater for tourist group and may get crowded and noisy.

For tourist, best way to get thete is by LRT to Ampang stop. It's few minutes walk from there. It's walking distance from KLCC too.

Note.

If you are in KLCC, Lai Poh Heen in Mandarin Oriental is halal Chinese too but it's high end dining.

Another Halal Chinese is at Westin Hotel opposite Pavillion. High end Chinese too

Recommended by a tour guide this chinese restaurant was a real find. Upstairs and out of the way near the Intercontinental Hotel this is great food at a very good price. The fish dishes are amazing. Full of locals eating which is always a good sign. No frills but great value.

I frequently come to this place for dim sum. Love both, steam and fried dim sum from Minmax (dont fancy steamed dim sum). The dim sum are good and fresh. The salted egg custard bun is my favorite! Recomended!

Apart from dim sum, they also have rice and side dishes - never had them here, so can't comment on them. But their fried rice is not bad.

In terms of pricing, I consider them as cheap. One plate of dim sum in 2-3 piece could be around RM4.90-8.90. I would suggest to come here in a group of minimum 5-6 people. You will get to try more varieties of dim sum, and more value for your money!

We were there last Friday to celebrate a birthday. The food was a hit and miss, some of the dishes were good and some could be done better. The arrangement of the table is too close to each other with a minimal elbow space. We had the dim sum previously as well and it is just average. There is not many halal dim sum/Chinese food in KL, I guess it will do if you have a craving for it.

We were here on a Sun morning at 9am when it opens. Dim sum is tasty and fresh. Although it is halal, you don't seems to notice it and still as good.
