Just to name a few noteworthy sushies, we had chutoro sushi, botan ebi sushi, shima aji sushi, aji sushi, ikura sushi, grilled eggplant with miso sauce etc. With 9 premium pieces of sushi were just nice for me and same goes to my partner. For big eaters, i guess you might opt for courses with more sushi or have some add on ala carte orders.

Sushi Hibiki is one of the newest Japanese fine dining restaurants, located in Shoppes At Four Seasons Place. We recently visited the restaurant and had an amazing omakase meal here. Helmed by Chef Sam, he will lead you through your culinary journey. We got to try many (autumnal) seasonal ingredients such as sanma, fresh ikura and chamame. It was a joy watching the sushi maestro at work and fun to interact with him and learn more about the restaurant and ingredients he sources.

A place not to be missed if you are ever in KL or looking for a fine Japanese meal.

Hibiki means echo or harmony in Japanese, is the latest sushi restaurant in town, opened 12 July 2018 (2 months old) under Chef Makoto Saito aka Sam. He was previous from Sushi Azabu, Isetan Lot 10 mall. This place is rather cosy and small with 9 seaters along the sushi bar plus 3 more 4 seater tables. The restaurant is rather discreet too and it’s partly hidden without any prominent signage. However do look out for the logo of the fish. Just like those sushi bars in Japan that are either hidden underground or at back lanes. Their fresh seafoods come 4 days per week directly from Japan, hence there are all really fresh. His sushi rice are very good as Chef Sam uses combination of 2 types of rice from Nagayama and Niigata. Reservations is highly recommended. They serve 4 Omakase courses ranging from RM 240 to RM 720 and they do have ala carte too.
