Picked up by Charles with another couple for a good evening of local food and Malayasian culture. Stopped at some interesting place to chow down on great food. It was great to mix among the local people to get the feel of everyday life in KL. Thanks again Charles for a great time and would recommend this for everyone visiting KL.

I went for a KL Food Walk and my tour guide was Charles. He was very informative, introducing us to Malaysia, the local culture and of course the food! However, rain hampered our tour, resulting in lost time. I was hoping to visit more places though. The food we had was delicious! We had local Indian food, snacks and tried Chinese food as well. Surprisingly we didn't eat Malay food like nasi lemak. Overall, a good tour and not to be missed when you are in KL.

My girlfriend and I recently did the Off the Eaten Track tour in KL, with the brilliant Farah as our guide. The food was delicious, Farah is so knowledgeable and gives a great insight into local cuisine and history. One word of advice - arrive on an empty stomach!

This was definitely one of the highlights of our time in KL. You start the tour several stops out of central KL at Taman Paramount station where we were met by the wonderful Farah. Over the course of the evening we learned so much about Malaysian food and the people who enjoy it. We went to places we would never have found on our own and ate food we would never have tried without this tour. Farah clearly loves food from all the ethnic groups in Malaysia and her enthusiasm is infectious. We had a great time and we were even dropped off back at our hotel in central KL at the end of the night.

The tour was great value and I would highly recommend it.

We went with Farah off the beaten track. It certainly is as you will go to places where there are no tourists and I doubt you would go on your own.
I felt some of the other people on the tour were a bit surprised at the very local nature of the places we went. Might be wrong. You are out in the suburbs
Go very hungry as there is almost a limitless amount of food.
Plus the best the Indian comes last. Its all good.
Farah was a caring an interesting guide and I'd strongly recommend this tour to all who have a sense of adventure when it comes to trying local foods
