Can't really trust the concierge... after calling this afternoon that my flight into KL was an hour early, no car was ready for a pick-up. Total lack of coordination between concierge service and drivers. Waited 15 min outside the airport; should have taken a taxi, would have been there quicker.

Yet, met a nice hotel stagiaire upon arrival (Greg) who brought a chocolate box.

Now - just went to the bathroom... looks like Hyatt is keeping up appearances but not really looking at the details. I have blond hair but found some black / pubic hair in the bathroom.

OK, small things you can miss but you don't get a second chance to make a first impression.

@Hyatt - I am still there, let's see if you can find my room number.

Dear Jean-Luc T, Thank you for your post. I understand you have met our Manager on the day who offered his apologies for the limousine error and also the housekeeping cleanliness shortfall. Whilst any error is frustrating, I am glad, in the human industry that the team upon realizing the missed limousine transfer had already met you on arrival before this post. We are only as good as our commitment to take action when errors are made. Whilst we regret any errors, we take all the feedback on board to constantly improve. Kind Regards, Robert Dallimore, General Manager.

As to be expected from the Hyatt brand hotels, this one doesn't disappoint. On arrival you are greeted with the usual Hyatt hospitality, from opening the door of your car to organising for luggage to be sent immediately to your room. On check in we were taken directly to the club lounge for personalised service having selected a club suite when booking our stay. The check-in process was quick and painless, exactly what you want after a long day of travelling. The lobby is however on the top (39th) floor of the hotel, so on arrival you proceed to the lifts and report to the reception counter at the top of the hotel. From here, you need to take a separate elevator down to your desired floor. While this was a novelty at first, it became a little tedious having to go up to the top floor, change lift and then proceed down to the floor every time you want to exit to street level. The suite is extremely spacious and has all the amenities you will need during your stay. The wifi without need for password or redirection to hotel web login page each time you connect is a nice bonus. The suite offered a spacious living room, study desk/foyer as well as guest toilet. The bedroom was spacious with excellent views to Petronas Towers and the views across the entire suite (situated on the corner of the hotel so you get to view aspects from the windows) were unobstructed. There is a complementary nespresso machine in your room as well as 2 flat screen TV's. The bathroom is again spacious with a bath equivalent to the size of a small swimming pool, which looks directly at the Petronas Towers. The club floor is as expected with seating always available and staff on-hand should you need assistance. The spa facilities are first class, but you do pay a premium price for these. The breakfast on the 38th floor is plentiful and has just about every option you can imagine. Well suited for the business traveller or couples looking for a top-class hotel experience.

Room tip: Suite is recomended if you are planning on spending extended time in your room as they allow for living room as well as bedroom.

Best hyatt experience so far! Thought Paris park hyatt was good when I was there last month but this hyatt topped the list with food and service.

Our airline lost our bags and the concierge managed to get our bags before our next flight. So happy we got our bags in time. Thank you Vivian and team for your excellent service.

Other superlatives: 38 is the name of the restaurant. Breakfast buffet catered to many different ethnic cuisines. Malaysian, Chinese , Japanese, American , noodle bar, fresh fruits.

Location is also great within 10 mins to KLCC metro. Uber is also readily available in the area.

Would massively recommend the corner rooms as you have huge floor to ceiling Panarama views of the Petronas towers. The food was amazing! We ordered room service for breakfast and the quality and value was exceptional.

I was very sick one night at the hotel with a parasite in my stomach and the hotel arranged a doctor which came to see me within the hour in my room and gave me medication. The service the hotel provided throughout my ordeal was so efficient and made me feel much more relaxed, also sending a get well card and bananas to my room.

The hotel, like most Grand Hyatts was exceptional, beautiful decor, stunning rooms, very clean with amazing pool facilities.

Me and my partner loved our stay and wouldn't hesitate in recommending the Hyatt!

Room tip: Corner rooms are huge with unbelievable views of the Petronas towers.
