The stay was fit for a royalty , elegance and malayan hospitality all in. We just stayed for barely two nights but we all thought that since the rooms were so hypnotizing, for folks of our age, we would have spent one full day just inside the room snuggling relentlessly. Take a room with a glorious view of petronas towers and spend all the time you can capturing selfies , indeed a bonus !

Love the room. Spacious. Clean. Luxury. Nice bed. Good service. Beautiful view. Near twin tower, walking distance. Near pavilion mall. Near bukit bintang. Lobby on 38 floor. Bar is on the 38 floor, nice and cosy. Great breakfast.

This hotel excelled at everything it did for us during our ten day stay. I can speak highly enough of the staff - from the Grand Conference room, the Spa, the concierge - all the staff were friendly. The hotel was clean and cool. We took our thirteen year old with us - and he loved the pool, the staff and room service.

Staff lack warmth and friendliness. There was a long queue during the check out process which took about 30-40 minutes. There were only 3 staff during peak hours which is unacceptable. Apart from the staff, the hotel room is fantastic with excellent view of KLCC Towers.

Dear ruptured7, Thank you for sharing your stay experience on Tripadvisor. The lack of warmth and friendliness was a surprise as we generally deliver a guest experience quite different from what you encountered. We do apologize for the poor impression caused and rest assured our team will be given additional training to expedite check in process during peak period. Despite this, we are glad you loved our popular Twin Tower View room. We look forward to providing a seamless experience next time. Kind regards, Parveen Kumar, Director of Operations.

After spending a little time in KL last year with friends, we decided to return for a few days en route to Melbourne.

My in laws have stayed in the Grand Hyatt in Dubai a couple of times, and the standard is vey good, so when we saw the proximity to the Petronas Towers we decided to stay at the Grand Hyatt in KL too, and we're glad we did!

We arrived a little early due to our flight time being reduced by good weather - and our room wasn't quite ready, nevertheless the baggage was taken, and the guy who checked us in made arrangements for us to use the pool/gym facilities whilst we waited for our room.

If you can, absolutely book a tower view room, there aren't many, and they are a little bit more - but definitely worth it. It never gets boring waking up to a view such as that.

The room itself was a great size, with both a rainforest shower and large bath, a separate dressing table area as well as a sink space.

Downstairs there's a good sized pool with sunbeds/cabanas and a poolside restaurant - which we used a few times, reasonably priced and a decent enough quality, even if service was sometimes quite slow.

The gym is well equipped with a great range of cardio, resistance and free weights. One of the bigger floors spaces that I've seen in similar standards of hotels as well.

We had the buffet breakfast once, and whilst there was a great selection of local and international cuisine, we preferred to explore other local restaurants. One evening we had cocktails on 38 and also enjoyed a meal at JP Teres on the ground floor on our penultimate evening - where I enjoyed the Chicken Tikka dish, usually I'd order something a lot hotter and prefer lamb, but the tikka was beautifully seasoned and was one of the best curries I'd ever eaten to be fair.

Would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Kuala Lumpur.

Dear flynnmatt, Thank you for your trust in the Grand Hyatt brand, we are most appreciative of your support! Kudos to my Front Desk colleague for being pro-active in arranging alternatives when early check in was not feasible at that point. We agree our Tower View room is a treat for sure and indeed a popular choice with many. Our pool and JPteres too are hidden gems within the hotel and am happy to hear you have enjoyed both facilities. Rest assured feedback of poolside restaurant has been noted and will most certainly be addressed. We are most humbled with your reassurance to return and look forward to welcome you back next time. With best wishes, Robert Dallimore, General Manager.
