Thirty8 so named as it is located on the 38th floor. A lovely place to entertain friends from overseas as it has a great KLCC view compared to Marini's which is way too expensive. Love the bread basket and pretty decent menu selection.

The options at this restaurant for breakfast are amazing, there are two main like interactive kitchen areas, one serving western food and another doing Asian and Indian. All of the food was cooked fresh and many options cooked to order. The staff are great and very helpful and are always on hand to get you another coffee etc.
Not only is the food amazing, but the views are spectacular. This is a perfect breakfast destination.

We stayed in Grand Hyatt KL in April and May this year. Had Club privilege but always opted to have breakfast at Thirty8. Amazing buffet of continental and asian breakfast. The staff arranged for a surprise birthday morning for us too! Thank you especially to the talented singer staff Izhar for the awesome birthday song! The high tea is amazing! For dinner, we were surprised with the big portions we received! Always friendly faces serving and helping us. All the small things of services makes a big difference compared to other luxury hotels. Keep up the good work guys!

Great view and friendly staff. Nice ambience too. The menu was somewhat confusing and a weird mix of Chinese and Western (steaks etc)
While we didn’t have an unpleasant anniversary dinner, the food was underwhelming considering the high cost.
The crab cakes were quite dry and the accompanying sauce too bitter from the capers. The asparagus soup with lobster ravioli was quite good tho the lobster taste was quite absent. The bread rolls were addictive. The steamed fish was well cooked and tasted ok but nothing mind blowing. The beef brisket was actually very tasty and tenderly cooked tho the mash it rested on didn’t compliment the beef or that tasty.
The signature dessert was ok. The best part was the salty caramel dripped on the ice cream and chocolate cake.
Other that the view there isn’t that much that will bring me back to be fair. It was an interesting and expensive experience.

We dined here last week, their decor and staff service was above average. The food was good but not outstanding especially for the price. The highlight of the meal was the dessert (signature chocolate cake).

A great place to visit as an international visitor as you get an unobstructed view of the Petronas Towers and KL city.

Good to go once but wouldn't return as there are much better restaurants that serve food at a higher standard at a similar price.
