“Go for the buffet lunch”
Reviewed 3 September 2012

This is definitely a better bet that the KLCC (Petronas towers) as you can get an awesome buffet lunch in the revolving restaurant whilst seeing all of KL's sights.

“Too expensive”
Reviewed 2 September 2012

We went to the tower but didnt go up to the top as we thought that it was far too expensive 90rm pp just for the view. We decided to do Petronas towers instead for les money with the guided tour. I suppose it would be good to have a meal there as there is a restaurant on top also pricey.

“Amazing View of KL”
Reviewed 2 September 2012

A quirk of KL geography is that the KL tower whilst shorter than the Petronas Towers actually rises higher than them due to its position on top of a little hill- Bukit Nenas. This means the views of KL are without parallel. Definitely worth the money you can see out over KL and beyond. A highlight are the binoculars which allow you to "spy" around KL.

Visit just before sunset so you can enjoy the KL city in day light and after dark when lights go on.

“Go for afternoon tea!”
Reviewed 1 September 2012

I would recommend paying to go up this tower rather than the Petronas towers - because when you are up this tower you get amazing views of the city....including views of the Petronas towers!

You can either pay just to go to the viewing deck (which on it's own probably isn't worth it - although the views are great) or you can pay extra to go to the revolving restaurant - Atmosphere 360. It is expensive to go to the revolving restaurant for a meal but I went for afternoon tea which was reasonably priced and was lovely. You could keep going back as many times as you liked to help yourself to the selection of cakes and fruit, tea and coffee. I enjoyed having afternoon tea whilst enjoying the views.

Also - the revolving restaurant has amazing toilets!

If you are just going to go up to the viewing deck avoid going at night - there are shops up there and the lights from the shops reflect in the windows meaning you can't get good photos of the views. It's fine during the day though.
