Wonderful museum. I especially enjoyed the models of mosques around the world and the special exhibits.

I loved the scale models of mosques from around the world in particular; they had a very diverse set from Africa to Arabia to China. I find Islamic arts especially fascinating with the beautiful calligraphy and patterns, and this museum did a wonderful job showcasing that. It was not just focused on traditional Middle Eastern Islam, but from all over the world in the wide array of cultures. The museum still looks brand new and is gorgeous inside.

There is plenty of historical objects which is related to Islam history.Severak galleries are there, like Jewellery, Arms and Armour, Textile, Wood, Metalwork, Ceramics,Manuscripts and etc. Many of these galleries have the objects from Iran(Persia)during Islam era. I definitely recommend to visit this place. The ticket price is also quite reasonable, 15 Ringgit for each person which equals aproximately 4 $. It is about 10 minutes walking from Pasar Seni metro station
