There is a lot of things here, one thing for sure are shops which are selling Arabic foods. But beside that, there are a lot of small shops selling nick nacks as well.
There is a lot of construction work going on at the moment.

It seemed to me to be a cross between a building site and a secondary shopping street! Even my wife who loves to shop didn't want to hang around!
This area is so active at night and is quite enjoyable. Street food is very cheap and some places offer tasty choices.
It is nice to walk around the area and there is also a metro stop in this area which can be used to go out a little further (such as KL Central). This method of transport is very cheap to travel around.
In Bukit Bintang plaza there are lots of options for budget shopping. Its is located on Bukit Bintang street which is famous for shopping in KL.
I had an 8 hour layover at Malaysia and decided to fully utilize my hours, and part of my itinerary was to stop by at Bukit Bintang. Despite the time at 11pm, it felt like the street had no plans of sleeping anytime soon, and offered the Malaysian delicacies and cuisines at your choosing. Some massage places were also open and I decided to try out everything hehe. I wish I could have spent more time in Kuala Lumpur, and next time I'll surely try out more food! :D
Bukit Bintang is the major shopping area of Kuala Lumpur. And Bukit Binatang plaza is among one of the malls where you can do city's best shopping.
