This place has everything! You don't need to go elsewhere. Shopping, food, entertainment, you name it. Admittedly, it is not a place for any peace and quiet. But amazingly, at all hours of the day (save for after-business hours), it is always thronged by crowds and crowds of people - where do they get all the time and money to spend, I wonder.

Easy access by LRT and MRT. Various retail shops, you name it they got it (T&C Apply haha) and it's a Foodie's Heaven. Trust me ! Come here, you'll burn some calories just by window shopping. There's a gym too, I saw it when I went to the Edu Fair.

I loved Mid Valley Mega Mall. It was huge and the newer top levels were great. There is a store that sells Nike, Reebok, Puma etc etc that are samples and seconds for around 100 Ringgit which was great. There are so many food options and lots to see. There is a train station virtually outside the mall and so even in the afternoon down pour we stayed dry.

I was told to go here and tbh with the exception of a range of pound shops at the top, it's the same shops at all the other malls. Saying that, that's why I managed to buy my family souvenirs! I was worried online reviews seem to paint a nightmare to get here but from Bukit Bintang monorail station you go to KL sentral which isn't the big white station surrounded by construction, but is in a shiny NU mall which is worth looking at too. Follow signs to other trains (or people walking) and you end up on a long concourse with the Komuter line clearly marked. Buy a ticket, go one stop and you're there! If you get bored, Garden mall (designer) next door and if you want a more unique vibe, a ten minute cab ride from the south exit (north snarls you in a pointless bit of traffic before you get to the south side) and just under MYR 10 gets you to Bangsar "village" devoid of tourists which had some boutique malls, shops and a banana leaf place. Highlight of Midvalley mall though...the Magnum ice-cream cafe!
