At first we wanted to stay at Double tree, but it was fully booked. We came to Hilton KL and chose a room on Executive level - it was one of the best decisions ever!

The view is marvelous, both my partner and me were literally stunned at the view for a while - it looked greater at night too.

Beside that, location is good, right at the center of KL. They have bar, good gym, great swimming pool (well, just a bit too crowded, but it was fine)... we're very pleased with our stay.

It was a great experience staying in Hilton Kuala Lumpur, with comfortable room environment and nice ambient at the restaurant.However, there are flaws for such a good hotel that distracted me. The drainage system in the hotel room was quiet bad. The shower area was flooded within a few minutes of shower. The water flow down the drain very slow, and the in house plumber seems can't find the solution for this matter. Ended up, we got to bare with the situation as the hotel was quiet full for that time being. Gaze restaurant seems to be a good dining place, but the waiters there do not attend to us properly. May be it was the festive season, and the restaurant was a bit packed. Issue that irritated me most was that they don't even have the intention to clean up a table for us to be seated. To make the matter even worst, the waiters keep reminding that we need to wait for long hours to get the food served and sort of shoo us off in a subtle way. This sort of fused me off a bit and we ended up dine in Chyna restaurant.

Located opposite the KLIA link from the airport this is convenient to get down town fast and cheaper than a taxi - especially in rush hour. Being renovated when we visited which made things a bit of a mess - you may want to check before visiting on status of renovations. Food not so good here but just go through to Le Meridien which is linked and eat there...Rooms were also very warm with poor air condictionaing
