I just visited the main museum which tells of the geological origins historical moments of Malaysia history. A great learning point for a first visit to this beautiful country and it’s warm and friendly people. It explains very well how three different cultures of Malay Muslim and Buddhist have managed to share power and living space so successfully After enduring a very painful history of colonisation and oppression.

The environment is nice, clean & comfortable. For Muslim, the surau is very nice, comfortable, clean & beautiful.

Good for every generation of visitors. Can easily spend 1 day here, especially if there is a seasonal exhibition. Interactive gallery, well organised. Different level display different exhibition. There is a cafe on ground floor in case you are waiting someone. Highlighted exhibition is the numismatic gallery. It displays in-depth history of currency and coins used throughout the country since the introduction of currency.
Entrance is free of charge. Has a fixed parking rate during weekdays and it is free during weekends. Need to pass a security check first for parking and gallery. Cannot bring bag inside, but no worries, there are lockers to store your stuff.
