Quivo is good but not the best, like many restaurants in Pavillion, the service of the restaurant suffers when there are a lot of people or during peak hours.
The ambiance is great, the background music is great as well. Good choice of music, the music is not only from this year but from the 80's and 90's as well. With good company and a drink in your hand, you can come here on Friday night to chill with your family/friends. The food is great, a mix of Western, Italian, and a bit of Arabic mixed in the selection of dishes.
A huge variety of drinks from Strong Cocktails to Smoothies to Juices and etc.
Besides the positives, there are negatives things about this restaurant as well.
It's moderate during lunch, but it gets worse during dinner peak hours, and that too if it's a Friday Night or the weekends. Quivo was really good in the beginning stages of their restaurant, which was a few months ago when the place was opened to the public. However, since it's popularity has sky-rocketed in the past few months, their quality has been hindered. Their service quality gradually drops during peak hours, as the waiters start rushing to places, sometimes even forgetting the orders you give them.
It takes a long time for anything to arrive, an order of a simple water bottle (which by no means is cheap, one 1 Litre "Fiji" bottle of water is around 15 - 18) takes about 15 - minutes, even if you order it with your drinks. The bottle and the drinks would come around the same time as your food, which is okay as well. But no one really likes to drink a cocktail while eating their food, it ruins the taste of the drink and the food; that's in my case at least.
Secondly, it's not cheap, nor is it too expensive, but it does touch the area of High-mid range; close to being expensive.
Their famous dish "Cheesy Spinach Dip" is always out of stock, which is not a major issue, but you'd expect the restaurant to have everything in stock when you arrive at around 8 PM.
All in all, the place gets overwhelmed quite easily, during peak hours. Even with the fact that there are about 15+ workers in the restaurant (This is including the chefs, bartenders, and waiters).
