The hotel itself is beautiful. Rooms are very spacious and look very new. Nice furniture and comfortable bed. Breakfast is excellent. Location is good if you like shopping as there are many shopping malls around. Quite busy neighbourhood. Please be aware if you ask for a taxi to one of the security people at the entrance. The fare they offered us was like 5 times higher than the normal fare

This hotel is great value and in a good location. Breakfast area and breakfast was definitely the highlight. Pool was very small and not well maintained, and its view not so nice so if you are looking for that typical high rise KL thing, look elsewhere. Rooms are very good, but could also use some maintenance because some of the furniture is showing wear and tears. Also the exterior of the windows could use a good cleaning. Staff is friendly enough but could be a little less formal. We would stay here again for this price though!

Great location in the middle of Bukit Bintang, close by the Mono-rail, spent 3 nights in end of January and I was really glad that I had chosen The KL Journal, it was a great hotel and went well beyond my expectations.

Rooms are spacious and filled with high-tech amenities (loved the speaker/alarm system). The staff although not very engaging with their guests did the enough to ensure there was nothing lacking or required of them.

Would recommend this hotel for sure! If you are looking for a short visit, (3 days or less) and need a place that lets you get in and out without much fuss, the KL Journal is definitely work looking into.

Room Tip: Try the Tea Tarik duirng breakfast and look at the menu, don't just walk around the counters.

Stayed 1 night, and had a relaxing time by the pool. Would recommend this hotel, one downside was the food from room services was ok, but not great. im sure others would like it, but just not to my taste.. Just eat around the corner in jalan alor food or one of the many malls.
Located centrally, and the staff are friendly. Late checkout can be arranged until 6pm for 150rm, which was good for me as i had a late flight..

Room Tip: Room with a view of the towers.

Checked in on thursday, and was promplty checked in. Rooms are a fantastic size, good king size bed, and ensuite. Location is great with a short walk to klcc and pavilion. Plenty of food choices around the hotel. Parking is included. The only downside is the tricky parking lot location, but its easily navigated. Will stay again.
