The old 1912 made with classic architectural hotel.
Rebuild by Americans after their war with Spanish army. Very spacious with live band & huge seating arrangements to accommodate big fat wedding receptions or conventions dinner . Rooms available for small groups with or family gathering . Wide variety of cuisines availability at the buffet with authentic taste of each dish .

Everything is awesome about this place. You feel like royalty when staying here. I am particularly fond of the breakfast. Oh my gums. The breakfast is amazing. Eat all you can buffet consisting of foods from different countries. I can't get enough of the chocolate croissants and it is the sole reason I am dreaming to stay here again. Those croissants are heaven.

The only thing I did not like is the pool. The water is slightly milky and not clear. I just think pools should have crystal clear water. It is also not very deep.

Attend a convention for 3 days and this place is magnificent upon entering you could see the vast lobby with dressed filipinana personnel.. check in is fast however parking is ample mostly valet parking .. the room is old with carpetted floor however the bathroom is millenial waterproof tv and remote , toilet bowl with manual button “like bidet “, bathtub with refurbish bathroom amenities daily..breakfast in cafe ilang ilang is ok with same choices in my stay but still one of the best in buffet probably because of the fruit stand and my fave taho is served .. the swimming pool had a kiddie and adult pool 8 ft per se. they had a pool bar wherein their fries one of the best but the pizza is not that good for kids .. we also avail their room service and they serve delicious sinigang na baboy and of course fried chicken for my kiddos .. The food price is quite but this is manila hotel what you expect however, they are serve palatable and really delicious.. This is my 2nd time in manila hotel but 1st time to stay in their place and still the grandiose of the hotel one of the best hotel in the philippines ..a musy try in their bake shop banana cake ... a place to visit if u wanted to go to intramuros and I will stay here again if given a chance

Recently stayed one night at the Manila Hotel, very impressed all round, we just wished we stayed another night to appreciate the hotel. The breakfast.... wow it has to be one of the very best we have had around the world it takes 10 minutes to see everything available. This hotel is famous from a historical point and I would highly recommend anyone thinking about staying here to do so. In the hotel there is a Chinese restaurant, a bit pricey to be expected, but still great service and food. Overall fantastic hotel which I cannot fault from checkin to checkout and the prices to stay here is very reasonable.

Room Tip: Stay more than 1 night and enjoy the extensive breakfast

We came here for breakfast and tried their ala carte which included their breakfast menu. We ordered their daing na bangus which was served with garlic rice topped with two fried eggs (done to your liking) and side dishes of homemade achara and grilled tomato. It was good. Their continental breakfast was equally good and filling with a basket of freshly baked bread with butter and spreads and a plate of fresh fruits. Breakfast here comes with a glass of fresh juice and a cup of freshly brewed coffee. Our group enjoyed our breakfast. Service was good and friendly. As expected of 5-stary hotels, prices of breakfast are high but may be worth it.
