We celebrated my mother in-law's birthday over lunch. We were very pleased with the rustic feel of the restaurant decor--not the usual lavish or even gaudy appearance of most buffets. The items for hotpot cooking were organized and clearly labeled, which was very helpful especially for senior citizens. While the spread may not have been as vast as other Vikings restaurants, the selections seemed to have been carefully considered and planned. We all felt that the dining experience was more relaxed--no chaos, no getting ahead of everyone else to grab the salmon sashimi or the shrimp, no waiting in line for the espresso machine. The staff were also very helpful. It was a happy birthday indeed, making the drive to Cubao very well worth it.
