Staying with friends and they wanted to take me here. It is a trek up a very windy road but worth it! Greatest by very friendly staff and spoke with the Chef, Jesse, who was so willing to accommodate our restricted diet needs. The salad was abundant and fresh. The
Grass fed beef steak was perfect! Savory fresh vegetable cooked perfectly. Nice wine selection, especially the Jacksonville Red blend. Good beer selection and limited cocktails. Save room for the homemade pies. We shared the coconut cream and apple that was in a perfect crust, all made fresh. Well worth the drive and will be back next summer to stay in a cabin. The Decor is not fancy nor hipster and more like a lodge Restarant, so don’t expect ambiance, but really nice folks preparing a really nice meal at reasonable prices. 3 of us and 2 desserts, one wine, $64! Will return !

We were guests in one of the Green Springs Cabins, so we were sort of a captive audience, but that turned out to be a stroke of luck. I had previewed the menu online, so I had a rough idea as to what to expect (and one factor in choosing to stay here), but dinner was even better than expected; we both had the salmon filet over polenta with a mouthwatering lemon caper sauce with parmesan. The best meal we had on our trip to Oregon, hands down. At $20 we thought the salmon was very reasonable given the quality.

Emily was our server and she was great; very knowledgeable and friendly, attentive without being intrusive.

Breakfast was also very good, although it was a little pricier. Very substantial, delicious servings, so it was a good way to get fortified for our long drive back up to Portland.

We stayed at eh Green springs Cabins for 4 days and we really loved it , here is why , its at 4555 feet elev. and its so so quite , the views of the trees and the openness of the property it seems to go forever . we stayed in one of the lodge rooms which was perfect for the 2 of us and our little furry baby . The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in , the down blanket and the pillows it was all just so comfy ! There are no TVs in the room so you can really focus on your stay and the views and the clean air . At night it was a little chilly maybe 35 degrees so the wall heater was on low and I loved having the window cracked so I could here the wind at night as it blew the trees , it sounded like the ocean . The room was very clean and there is a coffee maker and cups and coffee , ( we brought in extra cream personal choice ) ..oh wait the spa tub with jets and its separate from the shower /tub /toilet was heaven ! I loved the view of the trees at night while having a hot bath by candlelight , they have larger towels to wrap yourself perfect after the hot bath . We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner the first night , however only one complaint , we ate dinner the first night shared a appetizer of the white clams served with bread , the dish arrived with lots and lots and lots of shells and a nice butter sauce and yes wait very few clams ..too bad . we shared a nice salad with grilled chicken . The wine was good too we love the reds ! ..Overall great stay and would stay again !

Great little restaurant in the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument. We were staying at the Lodge, and wondered whether the food would be good (since we were more or less captive diners). No worries, all was wonderful. Box R Ranch burgers for night one, friendly and attentive service, fresh air, loved sitting on the deck soaking in the fresh mountain air. Highly recommend, even if you're not staying there. After a full day of hiking the trails of the National Monument, we enjoyed coming back for a delicious meal AND freshly made pie. Yum!

Stayed in the cabins and ate all 3 meals here. Good service and good food. Try their homemade pies. The owner was very helpful in suggesting trails to hike. There is a nearby 2 mile loop hike that has great views of the valley below. The owner even gave us a map.
