Stayed here years ago with our kids. Passing through we stopped again. Very friendly desk chap. Room was very, very clean & looked re-finished. Slept like a log in comfortable bed. Simple breakfast the next morning to get us on our way. Would stop again. Short walk to downtown area.

For $99/night during Winter, this was a very average experience. The service was good, and the room was spacious and clean. Good location as well. Issues we had- the pillows were super uncomfortable, not foam, not feathers, have no idea what type of weird filling they are made of, but felt like my head was on a plastic raft. Old-style wall heater w-limited settings, and noisy. It was cold at night, so we had to keep it set, but finally turned it off. No extra blankets in room. We were advised of "light" breakfast, but it was the lightest, most terrible I've ever had. I've had much better at other low-budget motels. Stale donuts, and just not inviting room. Nobody was in there. We went next door to the connected coffee shop and just purchased a yogurt and decent coffee to drink. Considering it was low-season, and there were so many choices in town, we decided that if we return to Ashland we won't stay here again, and try a B&B or different hotel. We came to visit SOU w/our son looking at the college. Location was convenient and the staff was very nice.

The pool WAS warm, the hot tub was great! SUPER clean rooms and nice and quiet even considering it was along a busy street. Extremely friendly hotel staff. Breakfast, well, not so good. Thankfully Safeway was across the street. We will be back though.

Great place to bring in the New Year. Everything we wanted or needed was within walking distance. Hotel staff was very friendly and kind. The lounge/cafe area is very cozy and inviting also. It was a great getaway!

We absolutely loved Ashland and the location of this hotel was excellent! We stayed in the Elizabethan Suite with our two young children. The layout is definitey unique but all the beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room. Would definitely stay again!
