I have stayed at this B&B several times,it is very clean and comfortable. There is a very nice walk around porch. The owner does a great job of leaving a good breakfast for each day as well as cookies and coffee cake. Everything is very nice. The only thing wrong is no internet or phone. I travel a lot for work and need to use a computer everyday,we did stop at Starbucks to check email. This was a down time for me so it was ok but could not stay there at a busy time of the year. I do enjoy staying there.

I have stayed many times at the 3B and will most definitely return. Micki ensures that the house is always clean and welcoming. I have absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend for anyone wanting a complete home rather than a hotel room. This home is a little outside of Amarillo but you can quickly be on Interstate 40 in about 2 minutes and directly to where you need to go. I hesitate to brag too much because the more people that find out about this place the less chance it will be vacant when I want to stay here, LOL! Don't hesitate for a second in choosing to stay here, Micki always leaves a wonderful breakfast in the fridge that you just need to heat and eat, she's a great cook. I actually call the 3B my home away from home.

We discovered the 3B Bed and Breakfast when we were looking for accommodations in the Amarillo area. After discovering that the price of a single room at a decent Holiday Inn or Best Western was the same as renting the entire house at the 3B, we took the house of course!

It's easy to get to the 3B, although once you've rolled along the gravel, tree-lined driveway and parked on the concrete pad next to this quiet gem, you might feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Down the road are cattle, burrows, the Interstate, and lots of chain motels, but where you are there is only the ocean of plains as far as the eye can see.

Enter this beautiful little house and you'll see the decorator touches and the love that was put into its creation. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, utensils, even a few spices, coffee, and sodas in the frig. Your host will have prepared a "u-bake it" breakfast casserole or "oven omelet" so you can enjoy a hot meal in the morning.

The single bathroom is spacious, bright and clean. Look up from washing your hands in the Texas-shaped sink and you stare out a window, not into a mirror. The plains beckon you with singing meadowlarks and cooing doves. (The mirror, if you need one, is on the wall to the left of the sink, no worries.)

Two bedrooms are separated by the openness of the great room. This great room has the lovely kitchen on one side and the living room on the other. A television with many channels and several VHS movies is available. Consider sitting outside in the evening on the wraparound porch and breathing in the clarity of space and freedom.

The master bedroom is done in pale yellow, with sunny windows and its own door to the back porch. The second bedroom is bright, cheery and summery-colored with also a door to the back porch.

Best part of staying here? Looking at the wide Texas plains, enjoying the vista that extends like an infinite galaxy of grasslands.

Well here we are back for an 8th visit in 5 years. This house is such a relaxing start and end to our annual USA road trip. As always the hosts Robert & Micki had left us freshly baked muffins and cookies along with a fridge stocked with soda's.

The house as always was immaculate, always the house is spotless, not a bit of dust anywhere and beautifully furnished. The bedrooms have a King bed and 2 singles with built in wardrobe and doors that open out to the wrap around porch.

This is an unhosted B&B and they are just across the field should you need them. Micki leaves breakfasts for you to cook in the fridge, however, should you prefer her not to do so, so that you can go to town to grab something that is fine, just let her know.

You can lay in bed waiting for the sunrise to come up then open the door and watch the most beautiful sight in the world, the dawning of another day.

Weather was glorious for the start and when we returned after our road trip unfortunately we were not so lucky, especially as Hurricane Ike was making his way towards the Texas coast, however, still nice enough to sit on the wrap around porch drinking coffee and watching the world go by, (well the cow's in the field)

This time there was 1 downside, the phone had been taken out from the house, this we normally use with a phone card to call home, no worries though we brought a pay as you go cell from Wal Mart with 300 mins for $30 and that did the job just fine.
