Great historical location. Go to just hear the pews creak. Lovely natural lighting and even has the nostalgia aroma! A must see.

The Meeting House is located on a quiet side street in Old Town. There are separate entrances for 'women' and 'men.' The interior is graceful and plain. What is more interesting is the graveyard behind the church where you will fine a tomb of an unknown Revolutionary Soldier. This too is quiet and plain but human in scale which makes for a remarkable experience if you are into history

The Meeting House is still in use today. I went to the church office and the secretary let me into the church so I could look around. The original church (built in 1775) burnt down in 1835 and the present structure was completed in 1837. It has the pews with doors, upper level that has the pipe organ, clear windows, etc. It is a simple church. In the burial ground behind the Meeting House you will find the tomb of the Unknown Soldier of the American Revolution. It is an interesting place to visit.

Liked: Beautiful grounds and location. Unchanged from when I attended back in the early 1960's.
Disliked: Closed on week days.

Very traditional with choir & pastors in period dress. Excellent choice of Christmas songs. Lovely tradtional candlelight service with communion. Welcoming, friendly folks. A perfect way to celebrate Christ's birth. We attended the earlier 7:30 service -- getting too old to stay up for midnight services. Only dislike was finding parking!!
